Bournemouth University (BU) have pledged to support the Dorset Ethnic Minority Awards for a second year running. The University continues to support projects which benefit the community and the Dorset Ethnic Minority Awards are perfectly placed to connect all ethnic minorities together under one roof.
The Dorset Ethnic Minority Awards are the brainchild of BU Alumni Nanzy Sebata and were set up to fill a niche in the market. The DEMA Awards were set up to raise a positive profile for ethnic minorities in Dorset and the greater community as a whole. They are a platform where positive contributions, achievements and successes by ethnic minorities in community, business and academia can be showcased to the public. The Red Carpet style event celebrates the pinnacle of success in the ethnic communities of Dorset.
The Dorset Ethnic Minority Awards will be held at the Lighthouse in Poole, on Friday Nov 29, 2019.
Tickets are on sale (click here to buy) and will close on the 9th of November 2019. Patrons are encouraged to purchase their tickets as soon as possible to secure a seat at the 2nd annual Dorset Ethnic Minority Awards Gala dubbed Dorset’s Biggest cultural showcase.
